Alexandre Pier Federici
Classical guitarist Alexandre Pier Federici completed his studies under the direction of Garry Antonio at the Faculty of Music at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he obtained a Diploma with Distinction in Guitar.
After winning a second prize in the New Celebrity Competion in Vancouver and being finalist in the Shell Darwin International Guitar Competition he went to Montevideo, Uruguay, where he studied with Maestro Abel Carlevaro, disciple of Andrès Segovia.
Alexandre is now living in Stockholm, Sweden and has performed in many different constellations as a soloist, with orchestra, and in duos with guitar, piano and voice in many venues like the Stockholms Konserthus, Grünewaldsalen, Siljansäs Church (Dalarna), the festival Music at the Royal Castle, Hallwylska Museet and more.
Alexandre Pier Federici has released four albums, Spanish & South American music, The Beatles on Guitar, Brazilian Music on Guitar and Baroque Music on Guitar.
His recordings are frequently heard on Swedish National Radio.
